MAC volleyball report: Wing lifts Clinton

Alyssa Wing had 23 kills, six in the final game, as Clinton handed Muscatine its first conference loss Tuesday, 17-25, 25-13, 18-25, 25-23, 15-12.
The River Queens (9-6, 2-1 MAC) posted 10 blocks in recovering from a 2-1 deficit. Katie Shoultz had 15 kills for Muscatine (9-4, 3-1), while Alex Walgren finished with 13 kills and 21 digs.
Assumption 3, West 0: Sydney Lunardi and Lexi Flynn each had four service aces as Class 3A third-ranked Assumption downed Davenport West 25-22, 25-18, 25-10.
Danielle Cabel led Assumption (8-1, 3-1) with nine kills, while Flynn and Lunardi had 17 and 16 digs, respectively.
North 3, Central 0: Davenport North earned its first conference win under Allison Newman with a 25-17, 25-23, 25-21 triumph over Davenport Central.
Clarissa Blick had a match-high 10 kills, and Anna Dressler dished out 26 assists for North (3-6, 1-2). Raegan Menke led Central (1-11, 0-4) with nine kills and four aces.
North Scott 3, Burlington 0: Class 4A No. 3 North Scott took over sole possession of first place in the conference with a 25-12, 25-8, 25-9 rout over Burlington.
The Lancers (12-2, 4-0) host Pleasant Valley next Tuesday.
